Purity Ring - Fireshrine [download]

The Canadian music duo Purity Ring made some big splashes in the indie electronic music scene with their debut album of 2012, Shrines. Shrines is quite possibly one of my favorite indie electronic albums of the year. This post-dubsteppy, shoegazy, chillwave-y sound (witch house?) with some haunting vocals is an awesome blending of genres, and this duo hit the mark with their debut album. They’re kind of like Salem, but good. I highly recommend that you download this album and give it a play from start to finish, and get trapped in the hazy, blissed out beats with haunting vocals while you’re at it. Enjoy.
