Some really brilliant disco stomping, deep house beats for your late evenings. Tomas Barfod’s album, Salton Sea is a flurry of different electronic styles, indie and experimental with bits of electro, disco, techno, and house all mixed together. I highly recommend you check out the album. I’ll be sharing more of it later.

Hudson Mohawke, aka Hudson Mo or HudMo is a DJ from Glasgow, Scotland who drops some funky, electronic and hip hop beats. “Cbat” is a song that I have recently been hearing EVERYWHERE at various different shows… I’ve heard this song a zillion times but couldn’t figure out what the song was called, but SBTRKT’s latest Essential Mix had it as one of the first tracks, so voila! I’ve heard FlyLo drop it in his set, and I’ve heard it at many other triphop and dubstep shows. The song is a perfect break during a really hard set, because it is slow enough to take a break from raging, but the beat drops so nasty that the entire crowd gets down and grooves slowly. Get down!
